The need for having a CBSE school at Krishnagar was a constant hunger for the people in the area for a very long time. It was finally fulfilled by the able educationist Mr. Naresh Chandra Das, who laid the foundation of Krishnagar Public School in 2016, under the trust managed by the National Centre for Development of Technical Education (NCDTE); with a vision to develop and nurture the students into outstanding citizens of country, through an integral, inclusive educational programme which aims at making them self-confident, creative, meet a holistic learning through activities and joyful learning.
The ideology followed in the school is not one individual taking hundred steps but hundred individuals taking a step together: a collaborative effort to progress in a united manner. The synergistic effect was demonstrated through years, by allowing as many students to participate in different co-curricular activities, school functions and in the field of sports.
The school took its birth with a morsel of 35 students and 5 teachers from pre-nursery till class V. The school followed adding its width every year by blooming up more classes. With the able guidance and innate love from the managements and teachers the school name disseminates the region. The school got CBSE affiliation for the secondary level in April 2018. The next successive year the board helped the institution to bestow it as a complete school by providing the affiliation to the senior secondary level.
