World Photography Day 2021

World Photography Day is an annual celebration of art, science, and history of photography. It is observed every year on August 19th to pay tribute to the art of photography. This day is commemorated with an aim to encourage people who want to pursue photography as a hobby or career. A picture captures a thousand emotions locked in a frame. Photography is a form of art that immortalizes the moment forever. It has also become one of the most important and widely used modes of communication in the digital era.

Each year, in celebration of this art form, many promotional photography competitions are announced with various themes to choose from.

Like every year, our institution, Krishnagar Public School, also celebrated the World Photography Day on 19^th August, 2021 virtually and our beloved students again showed their ability, skills, and their love on photography by clicking some beautiful snaps according to the given topics.

This year, 2021, World Photography Day was specially celebrated by our senior section’s students like students from class IX to XII. Class wise students were divided into four groups such as IX, X, XI and XII and was assigned different topics on which they had to take photos by using their camera or mobile.

Class IX students were asked to take photos of any flower or any monuments. Class X students were said to make collage of their best photographs, taken by them throughout the year whereas class XI students were asked to show their skills on photography by taking photos of something beautiful outside of their comfort zone. Class XII students were asked to express their love for their parents and other family members by taking their beautiful portrait photographs.

Students from all groups took part in this great event enthusiastically and shared their beautiful photographs with us and once again gave us the reason to feel proud on themselves.
