Diwali or Dipawali, is India's biggest and one of the most important festival. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deep), that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. According to Hindu mythology, Diwali is a festival which commemorates the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya along with his wife Sita, brother Lakshman and ardent devotee Hanuman after defeating the demon king Ravan.
This religious festival signifies the victory of good over evil and the triumph of light over darkness.
This year the students of Krishnagar Public School celebrated this festival through their art performances on 28th October 2022, Friday.
Little buds of PG, Nursery and KG made Rangoli with flowers at the school premises.
Students of primary section (Cass: I - V) decorated clay diyas with febric colors.
We all celebrated and enjoyed this festival irrespective of their castes and religious status. This festival teaches us victory of light (or good) over dark (or evil).
