“Raksha Bandhan is a festival which celebrates the bond of affection between brothers and sisters”

Raksha Bandhan is a traditional custom popular in India symbolizing a bond of protection, obligation, belief, faith, love and care. To strengthen this bond of universal brotherhood we honour the occasion and celebrate it!

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brother and sister. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan students of Krishnagar Public School celebrated the day by participating in the virtual activities organized by Vernacular section.

The students of Classes I and II shared their thoughts about Raksha Bandhan festival and painted colourful rakhis. Classes III and IV wrote beautiful messages for their brothers and sisters. Classes V and VI exchanged greeting and classes VII and VIII wrote an essay on Rakshabandhan explaining the mythological story related to it.

The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. Krishnagar Public School believes that celebration of festivals with true spirit reminds us about our cultural heritage and tradition. The Director and Principal of the school appreciated the work of the students.
