WORLD AIDS DAY

“Prevention is better than cure especially if something does not have a cure”

Worlds AIDS Day is celebrated every year on 1^st of December. We observe this day to make people aware of the disease so that all can unite together to fight against this deadly curse on humanity.  It is an opportunity to lend our support to the diseased and commemorate those who have lost their lives due to AIDS – related illness. The theme for the year 2020 was “Global solidarity and resilient HIV services”.

On this occasion, an interactive session with the students of Classes IX to XII was held on the virtual platform where all the relevant information regarding HIV and AIDS were shared. Students were encouraged to spread awareness related to this illness in their respective circles, to empathize and be compassionate with the diseased and to get associated with the AIDS related welfare programs in their near future as per their own capacities.
